Beautiful Science

Clean Deep sea mineral water has a high chained structure at 2°C (Temperature of water below 200 meters, where no light reaches). This water is plentiful in minerals that are essential nutrients for skin and stimulate collagen formation in cells. The water loses its complex “high chained” structure as it reaches room temperature. SELLA recreates this high chained water using a unique nanonizing process. It begins with crushing mineral-rich Ochers into smaller particles in water with ceramic balls for 72 hours. Next, a special nanonizing machine crushes the particles in the water to a size under 100nm. During this process, minerals such as calcium and germanium, which aid in changing the structural composition of the water, transform the water structure to high chained (hexagonal) water. This high chained water allows SELLA products to penetrate skin easily and work at cells directly.

An increased amount of melanin deposits under the eye also cause dark circles.

Dermatitis

Dermatitis is a broad term used for describing several different conditions involving inflammation of the skin. Most types of dermatitis are characterized by an itchy pink or red rash. Most cases of dermatitis are caused by an allergic reaction to something. Genetics detirmines exactly what each individual will react to. Some of the most common allergens are chlorine cleansers, detergents and soaps, fabric softeners, glues used on artificial nails, perfumes, topical medications , and the most common affecting one out of two people, poison oak and ivy.

Dry Skin

There is no single cause of dry skin. It can be classified as having an external or internal cause. External factors could be low humidity and high temps resulting in moisture loss. Some internal factors could be overall health, age, genetics, family history, over-washing with harsh soaps or the overuse of sanitizers and cleaning agents. Dry skin will often results in itchy and flaking skin.

Eczema

Exzema is a chronic skin disorder that involves scaly and itchy rashes. Some symptoms may include blisters wthat may result in oozing and crusting. Patches of dry flaky skin may appear all over the body or only in certain areas. Doctors do not really know the exact cause of this skin disorder. It may be a defect of the skin, possibly combines with an abnormal function of the immune system, that impairs its function as a protective barrier. Studies show that people with exzema have a gene defect that leads to abnormalities in a protein (filaggrin), which is important for maintaining the barrier of normal skin. Some forms can be triggered by substances that come into contact with the skin-soaps, cosmetics clothing, detergents, jewelry, or even sweat. Environmental allergens may also cause outbreaks. A change in temperature or humidity or psychological stress may also lead to breakouts.

Surfactants

Also known as Surface Active agents, surfactants are chemicals that stabilize mixtures of oil and water by reducing rhe surface tension at the interface between the oil and water molecules. Because water and oil do not dissolve in each other, a surfactant has to be added to the mixture to keep it from separating into layers.

Ubiquinone

Ubiquinone is a form of COQ10. CoQ10 plays a role in making skin look younger. CoQ10 levels decrease as you get older. The lack of CoQ10 results in the lack of ability to produce both collagen and elastin. Collagen is important because it makes your skin firm, while elastin gives your skin flexibility. The loss of collagen and elastin causes your skin to wrinkle and sag. CoQ10 also helps the skin because it is a strong antioxidant. One of the major causes of aging of the skin is the prescense of free radicals. Antioxidants bond with and eliminate free radicals, fighting the signs of aging. Research has shown that facial creams using Ubiquinone topically has reduced the signs of crow’s feet.
