Nanotechnology is the technology of precisely reducing the size and structure of a substance at the molecular level. Nanosized particles are defined as having a measurement of 10-100 nanometers. To put this in perspective, one nm, a billionth of a meter, is equivalent to the size of four atoms. Nano-technology is currently used in many different fields including engineering, chemistry, medicine and even electronics. Cancer researchers have achieved a 600x more effective penetration of tumors and cancer cells with the use of this new technology.
A testament to the efficacy of nano-technology can be seen by the stringent monitoring by the FDA in regards to safety AND efficacy. SELLA meets or exceeds all required stipulations by the FDA (G.R.A.S.)
